In 2019, C Foundation’s initiative to support non-profit projects was upgraded and named as “Design Education Development Project”.
Focused on design education, the project seeks out and finances non-profit projects of design education research,
exploration and innovation, facilitating changes and ecosystem improvement in the field of design education and thus advancing China’s design industry.
1. Projects
Non-profit projects of design education and of research, exploration and innovation centering around design education, including but not limited to curriculum R&D, education system reform, research projects, educational practices, talent cultivation, workshops and exchange activities for all kinds of design disciplines.
2. Number of projects financed
No more than three every term.
3. Amount
No more than RMB 300,000 per project.
4. Length
No more than one year of financing for every project.
5. Deadline of project application
August 20th, 2019 (for the year of 2019).
6. Process
(1) Project application
Download and fill in “Application for the First (2019) Design Education Development Project” and the PowerPoint template, make a short video of project introduction (no more than 5 minutes), scan the business license, and then send all the materials as a package to the email of C Foundation, info@cfoundation.cn, and write the subject as “First (2019) Design Education Development Project + your project name”.
(2) Evaluation process
Project application – qualification review – qualified candidates – primary selection by judges – final selection by the Board of Directors.
7. Evaluation criteria
Feasibility, academic value, industry influence, social value and resource integration.
